I see the term "grip zone" in the description. Which is used by Springfield Armory on the XD series and that's the first thing I thought when looking at the line drawing.

He has numerous other gun related patents here - https://patents.google.com/?inventor=Dov+Pikielny and here - https://patents.google.com/?inventor=Do ... lny&page=1 . This one looks like the SA mag sleeve from the XD series - https://patents.google.com/patent/US719 ... v+Pikielny . A couple other patents use drawing that obviously look like the current Kahr and Steyr pistols. I don't know if that means that he was working with/consulting for them, That he prototyped on those guns, or that he just used their images for convenience.
