I'm a retired Tool and Die maker.
I've been shooting and reloading 1911's for 40 years or so.
I can take em apart clean stuff and put them back together with no problem.
I keep thinking about building one but haven't pulled the trigger yet, I am getting to the point that if I'm going to do it I'd better get started.
Hope you don't mind if I hang out and see if I can still learn something.
