If Chuck's photo bucket account is like mine, I need to delete photos on a regular basis, or I exceed my alottment, at which time they charge a monthly fee.. I don't need anymore fees...:)

We will update the thread or start a new one in the near future. Photobucket was great, but we lost a bunch trying to change the account.
And Jerry is correct....

The MIM guns typically have VERY smooth actions and generally don't need anything beyond spring work. If I'm doing an action job on an MIM gun I still do all the same things, but the smoothness doesn't change a whole lot, just the pull weight. I really haven't found any issues with MIM guns. MIM is a pretty solid process when done right, and the S&W revolvers seem to be done very right. Edges are not as square (if that's what Chuck is talking about) but that doesn't seem to affect anything. Everyone hates change and it's always looked on with suspicion, but I think time will bear out that MIM is a solid process; just had a few growing pains.

Rank amateur here but hammer pin and trigger pin shims can help a lot, especially if you have hammer rub.

Smoothing out inside of rebound slide definitely improves things.

1970s vintage Smith & Wessons can be pretty rough inside. I have a Model 25 that looked inside like it was milled by a guy fired from the Vega assembly line. Many hours later trigger pull is much better than new.

Maybe we could convert one of these to do the job? Those Sperving bearings sound like the ticket.
