S&W M629 This is my Deer Gun. 7 1/2 inch Shilen Blank. Full PPC action work. Shoots tiny groups and loves Hornady XTP's.

Standard or Taylor Throat? All that weight should tame muzzle flip considerably.

Steve, It has a standard throat, however, I cut my throats with a single point HSS boring bar. I believe it is more concentric and certainly has a better surface finish.
