I was searching on the Brownells site and saw that Apex offers a lighter hammer for centerfire revolver wich improves ignition with lighter trigger pull...

they also make a heavy hammer for rimfire revolvers... wich improve ignition with lighter trigger pulls...

I like my hammers very light (cut them almost in half) to minimize the hammer impact in my sightpicture (I shoot some kind of PPC). I don't care if my triggerpull is 5 or 6lbs as long if it is smooth trough the entire pull en stops right after the hammer starts to fall

so wich wil give the best ignition? the heavy or the light hammer? In my 1911's I use EGW koenig and EGW lightened hammers. I don't like hammers without a "spur"
