Not IMO.
I seem to remember someone advertising HP's made in Belgium and assembled in Portugal for not much more and they looked in great shape. This was a week or two ago.

The link is to an FEG (Hungarian made) quasi High Power. The only thing High Power about that pistol is the slide profile. No High Power parts will interchange with that pistol. It is internally a near clone of a first generation S&W 59 series pistol. Interesting and fine for a curiosity, but not something that you can find parts for when needed. Buy it only if you have some disposable income for the strange and unusual oddballs.

John, that is one of the double action FEG pistols. The single action are a clone to the HP. Quality isn't as good, but parts interchange etc.
