Won't matter, still gotta get it if your an 07. We just paid 2 different lawyers just into 5 figures to answer that question. $2250 first year and $2750 annually after that I believe. It's a two edged sword. No 07 and your at the mercy of your region with ATF interpretation. Get an 07, and ATF provides that list to ITAR, though ATF could care less after that.

I'm 07 waiting on address change to finalize. Itar will be paid if needed, and now we get to wonder what the new 3415 new regulation that Berry is signing into law will do. more epa BS that will put more out of business.

after you have your FFL. Paper work then some more paper work, its not just 4473's and done, you have yearly manufacturing report , EPA, Corp taxes and state and federal taxes, You will also need to register with DDTC and maybe ITAR so you can pay for the privilege to be a gunsmith, kiss a few grand bye each year just in case you might import or export, I may be wrong but If you do not use any machines while doing your gunsmith pistol smith work I do not believe you will fall under ITAR. but just one item on a mill or lathe and you now need to register with ITAR. if you have plenty of work it will pay for itself in the long run.
