I currently am in the process of updating my product line of target stands and target offerings to include a wider variety of options for the average shooter.

One of the things i've found is that while an 18" wide target stand base is good for the IDPA and IPSC target standards, if one trains with larger targets, a wider base is a good idea so one doesn't destroy wood firring strips as fast as one shoots, so I'm introducing an "XL" version of my target stand at 24" wide to accommodate the larger targets.

I'm also working with others here to develop armor plate-based hard targets (I'd colloquially refer to them as "Steel" targets, but I'm not using steel per se, but rather actual armor plate) in a Texas Star, and typical torso target design with built in deflection.

I'm also kicking around some other ideas for other types of reactive targets of various sorts.

That brings me to the point of this post: As competition and training shooters, what sorts of hard targets and/or target stands would you guys like to see? Multiple-targets-on-one-stand options? Options to add and position "hostage" targets easily?

Help a brother out!

For most LE style targets, a 24" wide stand is what's needed. Even if the silhouette or target object is smaller, the paper still measures out close to 24'.

Ever seen those .22 targets with the 5 flappers on 'em and the 5th resets it? Make one for .45. :D

The hardest thing to target is remotely piloted aircraft. I hope one day all the firearms safety training classes will include this lesson in their training sessions. The next most difficult to target is the NRA 50-yard bull’s-eye. However, the hardest target you practice to shoot the better your aim becomes.
