A plastic round with a primer. Drops in to a 38Spl. Is this a training round from the recent past?

The photo is gone now, but yes, they were plastic practice rounds.

I had some in the early 70's. You used a small pistol primer and the 38's had a plastic wadcutter type projectile.

Thanks, but different ammo. It turned out to be blanks. What had me confused was it's one piece with no hole except for the primer. I suppose the round nose just blows open and smears molten plastic in the bore. I guess I need to locate it for New Years Eve.
