Can anyone Id this scope for me? I cant find any markings through the paint, I will strip it off and see what I can find.

The early brass bodied rifle scopes were typically painted or japanned. I know your scope is in rough shape, but if you want to keep it original leave the paint on. Some early scopes were not marked, but their adjustment mounts were. Check there for a hallmark.

Thanks for the info:)

I dont think the paint is original because there is over brush/spray/drips on the rifle too.

I think from my google ing it is a wards scope prob worth about zilch

It is also dusty inside and not very clear. It works but id rather have the irons.
