Nice collection - one for every season!
How about some details on the bullpup.

Joe,

You have expanded your collection since the last "Covert Canyon" outing.

Dave- I have gotten a little trigger time on the pictured bullpup by "Desert Tactical." The design lends itself to very little felt recoil. The .338LM feels like a light .308. And it's compactness is a given. My only complaint was that it had a really stiff bolt when I used it; which may have already been addressed by Joe...

Joe should be back to chime in. His addiction started with precision long guns. It was only a matter of time before he caught the 1911 bug. 8-)

Lol Thanx and yeah that desert tactical was actually my first real bolt gun. I now have about 6k rounds through it and 7 barrels. It's a switch barrel that allows for short and long action calipers basically anything off either a 308, 300wm or 338 bolt face. I have 2x308, 300wm, 260rem, 7wsm, 338lm, and 243 for it

Is it difficult to work the bolt with the action moved farther to the rear?

Actually I find it more natural once I got used to it, it's kinda like going from a ar15 to a aug it takes relearning some muscle memory

Joe:
I know this post is old . Sorry just saw it. Long range shooter for years. Have been wanting to get the Desert Tactical which would cut back on the expense of multiple quality optics. My concern is the trigger. How has it worked for you in comparison to your other rifles?
