While not an extremely rare version of the P-220 this one is chambered .38 Super. I found it at Williams Gunsights in Michigan as I was returning from a visit to Indiana. I came with three magazines, the box, test target, and owner's manual. The Sig date code is JJ dating the gun to 1988. Range report to follow.

Nice! Looks like the EU model with bottom mag release.

Nice! I've seen one other in .38 Super and it also had the Euro mag release. My P220 (.45 ACP, 'merican mag release) also came in a foam-lined cardboard box like that. Yours should also have a permanent front sight instead of a dovetail front sight.

I have yet to see a .38 super version with American mag release. Id like one and have heard rumors of their existence, but I have yet to see one.

That's a nice example there.
